CANDELA RAMOS
Dance Research
I am passioned about this body that feels and interacts within itself and its environment with such an intelligence and complexity that I can just grasp by experiencing. The observation of natural phenomenons is one of the bridges I found to have some access to all that wisdom, efficiency and beauty….
Anatomy, physics, physiology, biomechanics, anthropology as well as somatic practices such as Feldenkrais, Body Mind Centering, Contact Impro and Movement Emergence are some of my main nutrition fonts for research.
Axis Syllabus
AN OPEN-SOURCE RESOURCE & TOOL BOX
The Axis Syllabus is a constantly evolving reference system, or lexicon for the organization and cross-correlation of empirical and scientific findings from the study of human movement. This includes anatomical details, physics, practical applications, research, analysis and transmission.
Candela met Axis Syllabus in 2012 and got involved more and more into its community and lexicon since then. She is already a Certified Axis Syllabus Teacher and some of her missions are to transmit this valuable tool to her range of reach within the Tango dance world as well as being in constant research on Tango and other disciplines that could nourish one another.
